Coach Jenny Grillo is excited to be returning as the head coach for her ninth season. Her goals this year are for all members of the team to have fun and become better swimmers. She has been a member of the team since 2005 as a swimmer, coach in training, junior coach, and assistant coach. She enjoys working with swimmers of all ages and abilities. She holds a bachelor's in elementary education with teaching certifications in early childhood and special education along with a master's degree as a reading specialist. Currently, she is a first-grade teacher for MCPS. When not at the pool, Coach Jenny likes to go for hikes in the woods, bike rides with her family, and cuddle with her cat Chorizo. She has loved being a part of this team for almost 20 years and can't wait for another season.

Coach CJ Dunker has been swimming the majority of her life. She previously swam for Ridge for about four years and made so many awesome memories. Currently she swims for Washington College’s Division 3 team and has learned so much about the sport, and she is so excited to share that knowledge with everyone! Her goal this season is for everyone to have a great time both in and out of the water through sportsmanship, times, and kindness towards others!

Coach Cole Altman has been a member of the Ridge Seals swim team since 2015.  He has previously been coach in training and a junior coach. He is looking forward to his second summer as an Assistant Coach.  Cole particpated in Homeschool Swimming from 2014-2018, when he joined winter swim team at the YMCA in Westminster.  He swam winter swim through 2022. He also works at the Westminster YMCA as a lifeguard/pool operator/swim instructor.  He was homeschooled his entire school career and graduated in 2023.  He graduated from Carroll Community College this year with a degree in Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (aka Drones). He enjoys teaching and looks forward to helping your swimmer improve while having fun this summer.

Coach Ariana Satre is excited to be part of the coaching team for her second summer! Ariana grew up swimming competitively for about fifteen years. Although she stopped competing around age twenty, she has not stopped swimming since. She has been a lifeguard and swim instructor at Health Unlimited for the past three years, and still frequents the pool for laps multiple times a week. She looks forward to having her kids on the team with her and having her husband (who she met on the college swim team!) by her side cheering the kids on. Ariana can’t wait to see the swimmers not only advance their swimming skills but also grow in their love and kindness for the community around them.

Coach Aubrey Schroeder  has been a Ridge Seals swim team member since 2013. She was a coach in training for two years, a junior coach for two years, and is excited to continue as an assistant coach this year! Aubrey is a lifeguard and teaches swim lessons at the Ridge. She swam competitively year-round for eight years for Merritt Athletic Swimming. Aubrey will be a sophomore at Grove City College in the fall, where she is on the swim team and studies mathematics and secondary education. She also enjoys serving at her church. Her goal is to help the swimmers have fun and improve throughout the summer. Aubrey is very excited for a great season!
